Abstract
This Law focuses on establishing veterinary rules for determining the zoosanitary status of agricultural entities, which include land plots, construction objects, and facilities used for the breeding, maintenance, and slaughter of farm animals. It aims to enhance the levels of zoosanitary protection for these entities, aligning with the broader legal framework of veterinary oversight and public health. The law stipulates that the determination of zoosanitary status is to be conducted voluntarily upon the request of the owners of zoosanitary objects. This process will be overseen by the federal executive authority in the field of veterinary supervision, in collaboration with regional veterinary authorities, except in cases involving federal defense and security agencies. The document outlines the criteria for classifying zoosanitary objects and the procedures for informing relevant authorities about the classification of these objects into specific levels of zoosanitary protection. It establishes a framework for the implementation of zoosanitary protection levels, which will be governed by the provisions of this Law and the acts of the Eurasian Economic Union. The document emphasizes the role of federal and regional veterinary services in the enforcement of these measures and highlights the importance of compliance with established veterinary standards. Additionally, it notes the need for communication between various federal authorities regarding the classification of zoosanitary objects, ensuring a coordinated approach to veterinary oversight.
