Federal Law No. 70-FZ amending Federal Law No. 109 - FZ of 1997 "On safe handling of pesticides and agricultural chemicals".

Article 9 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals shall be acknowledged as follows: (a) the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals received from legal entities that have the necessary scientific and logistical support, specialists of the appropriate profile and qualifications and are admitted by the federal executive body, which exercises the normative and regulatory functions of in the field of agro-industrial complex, to conduct these tests; (b) the results of non-clinical laboratory studies of pesticide obtained in Russian testing laboratories (centers) recognized as conforming to the principles of an appropriate laboratory practice; and (c) the results of non-clinical laboratory pesticide studies obtained in foreign testing laboratories (centers) and containing data on the residual quantity of the active pesticide substances in agricultural products”.
