Federal Law No. 73-FZ “On objects of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation”.

This Federal Law regulates relations in the sphere of conservation, management, promotion and state protection of the objects of cultural heritage and is aimed at implementation of the constitutional right of each person to have access to cultural heritage, and also conservation of the sources of information related to the origin and development of culture. In particular, this Federal Law shall regulate formation and keeping unified state register of the objects of cultural heritage. Objects of cultural heritage shall be considered objects of immovable property, including objects of land-use planning, urban construction and architecture. Land plots and territories forming areas of cultural heritage shall be regulated by land legislation and this Federal Law. Annual state report on the state of objects of cultural heritage shall be elaborated and distributed annually.
