Federal Law No. 74-FZ amending Law No. 2395-I on subsoil.

Article 51 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 51. Compensation of damages caused to subsoil by the infringement of the legislation of the Russian Federation on subsoil. Persons that have caused damages to subsoil as a result of the infringement of the legislation of the Russian Federation on subsoil shall compensate them either voluntarily or in a judicial procedure. The modalities of calculation of damages caused to subsoil as a result of the infringement of the legislation of the Russian Federation on subsoil shall be established by the Government of the Russian Federation.”
