Government Decree No. 2251 validating the Regulation on the Government Commission on issues of agro-industrial, fishery complexes and sustainable development of rural areas.

Government Commission on issues of agro-industrial, fishery complexes and sustainable development of rural areas is the coordinating body formed to ensure coordinated actions of federal executive authorities, executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and organizations in order to implement a unified state policy in the field of agro-industrial complex, in the field of fisheries and aquaculture (fishfarming) and sustainable development of rural areas. The main objectives of the Commission are: (a) ensuring coordinated actions of federal executive bodies, executive bodies of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and organizations to develop the main directions of state policy in the field of agro-industrial, fishery complexes and sustainable development of rural areas; (b) development of main directions for improving legal regulation in the field of agro-industrial, fishery complexes and sustainable development of rural areas; and (c) coordination of the activities of federal executive bodies and executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation regarding the development of strategic and program-target planning documents of the Russian Federation in order to create conditions for the implementation of projects in the field of agro-industrial, fishery complexes and sustainable development of rural areas.
