Governmental Resolution No. 1701 validating the Regulation on the acquisition, storage and use of means of active impact on meteorological and other geophysical processes by specialized organizations.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for the acquisition, storage and use of means of active impact on meteorological and other geophysical processes by specialized organizations. Active impact on meteorological and other geophysical processes are carried out in order to regulate them and reduce possible harm from these processes to the population and the economy (protection of agricultural plants from hail, regulation of precipitation, fog dispersal and avalanches). Means of active impact containing explosive and pyrotechnic substances, shall be authorized to purchase, store and use specialized organizations licensed to carry out work on active impact on hydrometeorological and geophysical processes and phenomena by the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
