Governmental Resolution No. 1939-r validating Action Plan for the implementation of Strategy of socio-economic development of the North-Western Federal District for the period up to 2020.

This Action Plan is a cross-sectoral regional policy document, implementing Strategy of socio-economic development of the North-Western Federal District for the period up to 2020 is aimed at the development and realization of a set of measures directed at the development of territorial clusters with the consideration of territorial planning documentation. In particular, it regards programs for the integrated development of coastal areas and maritime areas, fishery complex, including aquaculture (fishfarming) and fish processing, stock enhancement and repopulation, forestry, validation of regional programs of agricultural development and regulation of regional markets of agricultural commodities, specific programs for the development of rural areas, environmental monitoring and extension of protected areas, high quality potable water supply to the population and solid domestic waste management and disposal with the participation of public-private partnership, and elaboration of a set of complex measures for the assessment of climate change risks and mitigation of the consequences of impact on climate.
