Joint Official Letter No. 2-13/1274 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and No. 136 of the Ministry of Finance regarding setting up subdivisions of State veterinary survey at the enterprises for processing and storage of animal products.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Finance specify that subdivisions of State veterinary survey are set up within the framework of State veterinary service at the location of the enterprises for processing and storage of animal products irrespectively of their departmental subordination and form of property engaged in slaughtering of cattle (birds), purveyance, processing and storage alimentary and non-alimentary raw materials of animal origin. Organization of such subdivisions will facilitate carrying out efficient veterinary survey for the purpose of protection of the population from disease common to human beings and animals and mass outbreak of food poisoning.
