Abstract
This Law establishes the modalities of the implementation the right to use aquatic biodiversity resources and establishes the main norms and requirements for carrying out fisheries’ activity in the Primorie Territory. The document consists of 17 articles. Article 1 lists the main terms used in the text of the present Law. Article 2 establishes the main purposes of the present Law. Article 3 determines the subjects of fisheries’ activity in the Primorie Territory. Article 4 establishes the main principles and directions of state regulation in the sphere of fisheries’ activity. Article 5 determines the competence of state administration of the Primorie Territory in the sphere of fisheries’ activity. Article 6 determines the competence of local administration of the Primorie Territory in the sphere of fisheries’ activity. Article 7 regards the Primorie Fisheries’ Council. Article 8 regards the distribution of quotas for catch of aquatic biodiversity allotted to the Primorie Territory. Article 9 determines the modalities of the utilization of aquatic biodiversity in the Primorie Territory. Article 10 determines the rights and the duties of the subjects of fisheries’ activity. Article 11 concerns the rights of the indigenous scanty population living on the territory of the Primorie Territory in the sphere of the fisheries’ activity. Article 12 concerns licensing of industrial fisheries and fish breeding, organization of sport and artisanal fishing in the Primorie Territory. Article 13 deals with coastal fishing. Article 14 deals with sport and artisanal fishing. Article 15 regards industrial fish breeding. Article 16 regards scientific research in the sphere of fisheries. Article 17 establishes the liability for the infringement of the present Law.
