Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Namibia on cooperation in the sphere of exploration and extraction of uranium on the territory of Namibia.

Abstract
The Parties have agreed to promote cooperation through realization of joint projects related to exploration, extraction and processing of uranium on the territory of Namibia. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) joint-ventures; (b) prevention of actions that may undermine stability of global market of natural uranium; (c) introduction and operation of new advanced exploration, mining and enrichment of uranium; and (d) training of staff.

Entry into force notes
This Memorandum of Understanding shall be effective from the date of signature.
Notes
This Memorandum of Understanding shall be valid for five years, shall be automatically renewed for one or more five-year periods unless either Party terminates the Memorandum of Understanding by written notice to the other in which case the Memorandum of Understanding shall be terminated within six months since receipt of the notice.
