Abstract
The Government decrees to validate the Regulation. Regional executive authorities must fix maximum size ceilings of the plots of land for various purposes that can be owned by a single physical or juridical person. The fixed size ceilings cannot be smaller than standard size ceilings for the plots of land currently in force. This Regulation establishes the modalities of carrying out land tenders, land auctions and other land transactions for the cases envisaged by the legislation currently in force. In the presence of preferential purchasers in accordance with the legislation currently in force a closed tender or auction is carried out, otherwise the seller is entitled to sell the plot of land either independently or by open tender or auction. The seller of the plot of land not less than 10 days before striking a contract of sale of the plot of land must send a notice to the district (city) committee on land resources and land survey declaring his intention to sell and indicating the conjectural price of the plot of land in question. Buying and selling contracts for the plots of land are prohibited if as a result of them a single physical or juridical person will own plot(s) of land which total area exceeds the fixed maximum size ceilings. The document consists of 24 Articles.
