Ministerial Decree No. 595 validating the Regulation on state supervision over forest fires.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of state supervision over forest fires. The purpose of state forest fire supervision shall be to enforce legislation on forest fire prevention and to ensure compliance of natural and legal persons with the provisions of the aforesaid legislation. State supervision over forest fires shall be carried out by the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service, the Federal Nature Management Service, territorial bodies thereof and regional executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation. State supervision over forest fires shall be carried out by the officials of the aforesaid institutions in the form of inspections and monitoring.
