Ministerial Decree No. 843 validating the Regulation on state control in the sphere of protection, stock enhancement and management of wild fauna and its natural habitats.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of state control in the sphere of protection, stock enhancement and management of wild fauna and its natural habitats. It shall not be applicable to fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources. State control on the territory of protected areas shall regard issues that are not subject to regulation by the specific legislation on protected areas. The purpose of state control shall be to ensure the observance of the national and regional legislation on protection, stock enhancement and management of wild fauna and its natural habitats. Federal Nature Management Supervision Service shall carry out state control of wild fauna on protected areas of federal significance. Regional authorized state institution shall carry out control of the use of traps (except for state control of wild fauna on protected areas of federal significance) and turnover of wildlife products.
