Nature Management Supervision Service, in order to prevent the importation and spread of new coronavirus infection caused by COVID-19, considers it necessary to impose ban or restrictions on hunting on the territories of regions of the Russian Federation with the minimum time period until 1 May 2020. At the same time, when making a decision to introduce restrictions on hunting in the territory of the Russian Federation constituent entities, we consider it necessary to pay special attention to the interests of the categories of population for which hunting is the basis of subsistence, including indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation. This Official Letter is sent to the territorial bodies of Nature Management Supervision Service for information.
