Official Letter No. 13-2-2/369 of the Veterinary Department attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food regarding licensing of veterinary activity in the Russian Federation.

Deputy Chief of the Veterinary Department forwards to its subdivisions Methodical Recommendations regarding the modalities of preparation and organization of licensing of veterinary activity in the Russian Federation. This Regulation determines the modalities of licensing of veterinary activity carried out by juridical persons irrespectively of organizational and legal form and by physical persons engaged in private business activity without the status of juridical person. Institutions of State Veterinary Service must be issued license for carrying out veterinary activity. License is issued for carrying out veterinary medicinal and prophylactic, laboratory and diagnostic activity, as well as manufacturing and trade of veterinary drugs, manufacturing and trade of animal feed, biological preparations, zoo hygienic remedies and accessories for veterinary purposes. The Regulation consists of 4 Sections. Section 1 regards veterinary medicinal and prophylactic activity. Section 2 regards laboratory and diagnostic activity. Section 3 regards manufacturing and trade of veterinary drugs. Section 4 regards manufacturing and trade of animal feedstuffs.
