Order No. 170 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Regulation on the making of and registration of contracts for industrial fisheries quota transfer.

This Order establishes the modalities of the making of and registration of contracts for industrial fisheries quota transfer. Quota transfer regards quotas obtained through tenders related to industrial fisheries in the inland waters, internal sea, territorial sea, on the continental shelf and in the EEZ of the Russian Federation, and also shares of the total allowable catch allocated to the Russian Federation in accordance with the international fisheries agreements. Transferee of quotas legal persons and individual entrepreneurs registered on the territory of the Russian Federation. The quota owner makes a contract with the transferee and the contract becomes effective from the forthcoming year. The contract becomes valid from the date of the official registration thereof by the Federal Fisheries Agency.
