Order No. 2 of the Ministry of Natural Resources validating the Regulation on keeping the state register of protected areas of federal significance by the Federal Nature Management Service.

This Order establishes the modalities of keeping the state register of protected areas of federal significance by the Federal Nature Management Service with a view of processing and keeping of data related to protected areas of federal significance, and also granting access to information related to location and boundaries of protected areas to natural and legal persons. Federal Nature Management Service shall release information concerning presence or absence of protected areas within a given land area, types of restrictions of economic activities and other information at request by natural and legal persons. Request shall contain the following data: (a) legal address and full name of the organization (for legal persons); (b) complete name for natural persons; (c) name of regions (subject of the Russian Federation), municipal unit or rural district on which territory protected area is located; and (d) map, scheme or description of geographic position of a plot of land.
