Order No. 224 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the procedure for formalization and content of planned (verification inspection) tasks for examination, inspection of fishing fleet vessels located in the fishing areas during fishing, and registration of results of planned (verification inspection) examinations and surveys.

This Order establishes the procedure for formalization and content of planned (verification inspection) tasks for examination, inspection of fishing fleet vessels located in the fishing areas during fishing, and registration of results of planned (verification inspection) examinations and surveys. The purpose of formalization of planned (verification inspection) tasks for examination, inspection of vessels of the fishing fleet and their results is monitoring of compliance by legal entities, individual entrepreneurs in the process of the performance of their activities with requirements, established by international treaties of the Russian Federation, federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation in the field of safety of merchant shipping in the part ensuring navigation of fishing fleet vessels. Planned (verification) inspections shall be performed by the official of the Federal Agency for Fisheries. During planned (verification) inspections of fishing vessels the following operations shall be performed: (a) visual inspection (verification) of fishing vessels, including on-board equipment; (b) formalization of the results of inspections; and (c) analysis of information on the activities of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs for compliance with mandatory requirements.
