Order No. 248 of the Ministry of Natural Resources regarding the redesignation of water basin institutions.

The purpose of this Order is to improve the structure of management and conservation of public water. This Order decrees to redesignate the Kuban water and waterworks institution as the Kuban water institution with the status of inter-regional territorial branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and to abstract from it chemical research laboratory, water monitoring unit and Krasnodar department of water uses. All these abstracted units are to be conformed together for the setting up of the Federal Department "Kuban water monitoring department - Kubanmonitoringvod".
