Order No. 270 Of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Procedure for testing varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants for distinctiveness, homogeneity and stability for the purpose of maintaining the State Register of varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants approved for use, when conducting tests to identify economically useful traits and (or) properties of agricultural plants.

When testing varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants to identify economically useful traits and (or) properties of agricultural plants for the purpose of maintaining the State Register of Varieties and Hybrids of Agricultural Plants Approved for Use, tests for distinctiveness, homogeneity and stability are not carried out with respect to varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants if tests for distinctiveness, homogeneity and stability have been or are being carried out for such varieties and hybrids upon inclusion in the State Register of Protected Selection Achievements. Tests for distinctiveness, homogeneity and stability of varieties and hybrids of tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet peppers intended for cultivation in protected ground are carried out at variety testing sites of the federal state budgetary institution subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia or the applicant at the applicant’s choice.
