Order No. 282 of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service validating the Procedure for suspension of trade and use of veterinary drugs.

This Order establishes the Procedure for suspension of trade and use of veterinary drugs, sets timing and sequence of actions, performed by Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) in the process of suspension of trade and application of veterinary drugs, as well as the rules of interaction between Rosselkhoznadzor and subjects of circulation of veterinary drugs in the process of federal state supervision in the field of veterinary drug circulation. Suspension of trade and application of veterinary drugs shall be authorized in the following cases: (a) composition and (or) manufacturing technology of drugs (with a description of the manufacturing stages) differ from those stated in the registration dossier; (b) drug is manufactured at the production site, not specified in the registration dossier; (c) manufacturer of veterinary drugs lacks documents confirming compliance of the quality of drug introduced into the civil turnover with the requirements established during its state registration; and (d) manufacturer of veterinary drugs has not eliminated violations of manufacturing requirements and (or) licensing terms and conditions, identified in the process of inspection of manufacturing facilities, within the time limit set by Rosselkhoznadzor.
