Order No. 33n of the Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations validating the Regulation on the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture of South-East” as protected natural area of federal significance.

This Order validates the Regulation on the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture of South-East” as protected natural area of federal significance (located in Saratov) defines tasks, scientific profile of the institution as dendrological, legal status, organizational structure and applicable protection regime. The main purpose of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture of South-East” shall be preserving diversity and enriching flora, as well as the implementation of scientific, educational and educational activities. The main tasks of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture of South-East” shall be as follows: (a) formation, preservation, reproduction and maintenance of a collection of plants with great scientific, educational, economic and cultural significance; (b) performance of research work on the problems of plant introduction and acclimatization, ecology and rational use of natural resources; (c) performance of scientific and educational and pedagogical work of ecological and botanical focus for students, schoolchildren, specialized professionals and the population; and (d) development of recommendations for a range of promising economically valuable and decorative species for use in forest reclamation and greenery plantings.
