Abstract
This Order implements the Convention on biological diversity. The President of the State Committee of Environmental Protection decrees to set up “Centre for conservation of biological diversity” as autonomous non-commercial organization and to validate its Statute. Autonomous non-commercial organization “Centre for conservation of biological biodiversity” is set up for the creation of favourable conditions for the fulfilment of the projects of Global ecological fund and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) “Conservation of biological diversity of the Russian Federation” and for the formation of efficient mechanisms for the realization of priority projects and programs of the Project Global ecological fund within Convention on biodiversity. Centre is an autonomous non-commercial organization without membership pursuing ecological, educational, information and other socially useful goals regarding the problems of conservation of biological diversity. The Statute consists of 9 Articles. Article 1 lays down general provisions. Article 2 regards its legal status. Article 3 establishes goals, tasks and sphere of competence. Article 4 regards financial and economic activity of Centre. Article 5 regards property of Centre. Article 6 regards management of Centre. Article 7 regards control, registration and accountability. Article 8 regards reorganization and liquidation of the organizations. Article 9 lays down final provisions.
