Abstract
Regional Forestry Institution is a territorial subdivision of the Federal Forest Service authorized to carry out the tasks of state administration in the following spheres: 1) management, conservation and protection of the forest stock and reproduction of forests; 2) conservation, control and regulation of wildlife species and habitats thereof; 3) environmental protection. The regional authorities are compelled to put into effect the General Statute of the Forestry Institution at the regional level that is the basic regulation for carrying out their activity. The regional authorities are entitled to modify their organizational and technical structures in conformity with the General Statute of the Forestry Institution at the regional level.
