Order No. 869 of the Federal Fisheries Agency “On measures to fulfill the terms of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Japan on certain issues of cooperation in the field of fishing for marine living resources dated February 21, 1998.”

Federal Fisheries Agency and the Government of Japan reached an understanding about the following: 1. The volume and species composition of living resources and other information for fishing by Japanese fishing vessels in the sea area specified in Article 1of the Agreement defined for 2022 are specified in Annex 1. 2. The Japanese Party in connection with fishing, conservation and reproduction of living resources will pay to the Russian Party the amount of 21.3 million Japanese yen to the client number, the requisites of which are indicated in Appendix 2. The Memorandum specifies aquatic biological species authorized for fishing, authorized fishing vessels, authorized fishing areas, authorized size of species subject to fishing and lists species prohibited for fishing.
