Presidential Decree No.1470 of 1994 regarding natural resources of the sea-coast of the Black sea and the Sea of Azov.

President, for the purpose of conservation and restoration of natural resources of the sea-coast of the Black sea and the Sea of Azov, decrees to approve the initiative of the regional administration of the Krasnodar Territory regarding attribution some natural resources of the sea-coast of the Black sea and the Sea of Azov to federal natural resources. The Government of the Russian Federation is entitled with the task of validation of the list of the aforesaid natural resources and to determine federal executive bodies authorized to carry out jointly with the regional authorities management functions. Delimitation of the boundaries of the plots of land pertaining to protected areas that can not be transferred in private ownership, must be delimited immediately. The Government of the Russian Federation must determine the use of health resorts and recreational areas, taking into consideration their natural and medical qualities.
