Regional Decree No. 3-pp validating the Regulation on organization and conduct of open tenders for conclusion of contracts of lease of public forest plots for timber extraction.

This Regional Law establishes the procedure for organization and conduct of open tenders for conclusion of contracts of lease of public forest plots for timber extraction. Public forest land plots shall be allotted on lease by the results of tenders. Regional Forestry Department accepts applications for participation in tender according to the form, in accordance with the procedure, at the address of the place of reception of applications and within the time limits established by the tender documentation. A legal entity or an individual entrepreneur in possession of timber processing infrastructure have the right to apply for participation in the tender. The decision on the winner of the tender shall be made on the day of the meeting of the Tender Committee and shall be documented in the protocol on the results of the tender, which is signed by the members of the Tender Commission and approved by the Chairman of the Tender Commission. The protocol on the results of the tender is the basis for concluding with the winner of the tender a forestry plot lease agreement.
