Regional Law No. 150 “On some issues of implementation of the Federal Law No. 89-FZ on industrial and consumer waste.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be to regulate some issues of implementation of the Federal Law No. 89-FZ on industrial and consumer waste. Regional Legislative Assembly shall be responsible for approval of regional legislation regulating the issues of waste management and enforcement thereof. Regional Government shall be responsible for: (a) performance of arrangements for prevention of natural and technological disasters originating from waste management, and mitigation of the consequences thereof; (b) participation in implementation of state policy in the sphere of waste management on the regional territory; (c) establishment of rules and regulations for regional operators in the sphere of waste management; (d) establishment of rules and regulations for collection of solid domestic waste; and (e) establishment of keeping regional register of waste.
