Abstract
This Regional Law regulates relations in the field of apiculture and protection of bees. The objectives of this Regional Law shall be as follows: (a) creating conditions for breeding, keeping bees, their use for pollination of agricultural entomophile plants; (b) promotion of the manufacturing of apiculture products and processing thereof; (c) ensuring safety of the population from adverse physical and psychological effects of bees; and (d) protection of bees. State support of apiculture shall be performed out of regional state budget. Conditions of beekeeping by citizens, including subsidiary smallholding facilities, peasant farms, by individual entrepreneurs and legal entities for the purpose of bee reproduction, keeping, trade and use of bees for pollination of agricultural entomophiles, obtaining of apiculture products, transporting bees, as well as application of bee quarantine, mandatory preventative measures and diagnostic tests on bees must be consistent and comply with the current veterinary legislation.
