Regional Law No. 2629-OZ implementing some provisions of the Federal Law No. 490-FZ “On apiculture”.

This Regional Law regulates some issues in the field of apiculture on the regional territory. In particular, it delimits powers of the regional bodies and establishes the forms of state support of apiculture. Regional Legislative Assembly shall have the following powers: (a) adoption of regional laws; and (b) control over implementation of regional legislation and compliance therewith. Regional Government shall have the following powers: (a) validation of regional state programs in the field of agriculture; (b) determination of the authorized regional state body in the field of apiculture; and (c) validation of the procedure for legalization and keeping veterinary and sanitary certificate of apiary. Regional state executive body authorized in the field of apiculture shall have the following powers: (a) elaboration and implementation of regional state programs in the field of apiculture; and (b) implementation of other powers in the field of apiculture, envisaged by federal and regional legislation. The forms of regional state support of apiculture shall be as follows: (a) information beekeepers; (b) assistance in the creation of marketing (trade), processing, service, consumer and other agricultural cooperatives; and (c) assistance in the development of apiculture by creating favorable organizational, legal, environmental and other conditions for apiculture production, including the provision of scientific and technical developments and technologies.
