Regional Law No. 317-KZ "On apiculture".

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of beekeeping, reproduction and management of bees for obtaining of apiculture products, protection of rights and interests of natural and legal persons performing apiculture. This Regional Law shall perform the following tasks: (a) protection of apiculture; (b) setting up conditions for beekeeping for manufacturing of apiculture products and pollination of entomophilous plants with a view of raising agricultural crops yield; (c) promotion of apiculture products; and (d) protection of bees. Beekeepers shall be granted the right to constitute associations.
