Regional Law No. 3985-KZ amending Regional Law No. 142-KZ “On viticulture and enological practices”.

Article 17.2 shall be amended to add a new wording: “Regional taste panel. 1. In order to implement the regional policy in the field of viticulture, production of grape processing products, the regional taste panel performs organoleptic evaluation of wine products produced and circulated in the regional territory, including the evaluation of wine products with protected geographical indication, with the protected appellation of origin, produced within the boundaries of the geographical objects located in the regional territory. 2. The structure of the regional taste panel can include representatives of federal executive bodies, regional executive bodies, unions (associations) of manufacturers of grapes and wine, the self-regulatory organizations of vine-growers and winemakers, the subjects of an agro-industrial complex engaged in manufacturing of winemaking production. 3. Regulations on the regional taste panel, its structure is approved by the authorized state regional body in the field of viticulture and winemaking production. 4. Information on the results of the evaluation of wine products produced and circulating in the regional territory, received by the regional taste panel, shall be placed by the authorized regional executive body in the field of viticulture and production of wine products on its official website in the information and telecommunications network "Internet".”
