Regional Law No. 4024-KZ “On delegation of some state powers in the field of support of agricultural producers to local government”.

This Regional Law delegates some state powers in the field of support of agricultural producers to local government. Local government bodies of municipalities and urban districts shall be granted the right to allocate subsidies to smallholders and individual entrepreneurs performing agricultural activities for partial compensation of costs for the following purposes: (a) products of animal origin; (b) purchase of pedigree livestock; (c) greenhouse construction for growing of vegetables on protected ground; (d) payment of services for artificial insemination of livestock; (e) purchase of drip irrigation systems; (f) purchase of technological equipment for livestock breeding and poultry farming (except for smallholders); and (g) increase of the number of cows (except for smallholders).
