Regional Law No. 475-OZ “On state support of business entities operating in the field of solid domestic waste management”.

This Regional Law establishes forms, terms, conditions and the procedure for granting state support to business entities in the field of solid domestic waste management. State support shall be based upon the following principles: (a) social and economic substantiation of decisions on state support; (b) transparency and accessibility of all business entities to state support; (c) equal rights for all business entities applying for state support; and (d) balance of public and private interests in granting state support. The objectives of state support shall be waste prevention, waste reduction and increase of the amount of recycled waste. State support shall be granted in the following forms: (a) subsidies out of the regional budget; (b) preferential taxation terms; and (c) stimulation of investments in the field of solid domestic waste management.
