Abstract
The list of small indigenous peoples of the North includes the following aboriginal ethnic groups of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): Dolgans, Evens, Evenks, Yukaghirs. In accordance with the Unified List of Indigenous Peoples of the Russian Federation the aboriginal ethnic group - the Chukchi – is included in the list of indigenous peoples of the North living on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The representatives of the peoples of the North included in the Unified List of Indigenous Peoples of the Russian Federation and living in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) shall be classified as receiving state support.
