Regional Law No. 632-Z “On the delimitation of powers of state authorities of the Tambov region in the field of apiculture development.

This Regional Law delimits powers between bodies of legislative (representative) and executive state power of Tambov region in the field of apiculture development. Regional Legislative Assembly adopts laws regulating relations in the field of apiculture development, and monitors compliance therewith and implementation thereof, as well as exercise other powers in the field of apiculture development, envisaged by the legislation of the Russian Federation. Regional executive bodies shall have the following powers in the field of apiculture development: (a) adoption of regulatory legal acts in the field of apiculture development; (b) development and implementation of regional state programs in the field of apiculture development; (c) establishment of the procedure for registration and keeping of veterinary and sanitary apiary certificates; (d) implementation of measures aimed at educating careful attitude towards bees; (e) promotion of the activities of unions (associations) of beekeeping farms by providing them with information and advisory assistance on the implementation of activities in the field of apiculture; and (f) other powers in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the legislation of Tambov region.
