Regional Law No. 69-ZTO amending Regional Law No. 114-ZTO On regulation of some relations in the field of apiculture and state support of apiculture .

Article 6 (1) shall be amended to add the following wording: Article 6 (1). Prevention of negative effects of pesticides on bees 1. In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, in order to prevent the negative impact of pesticides on bees, measures are carried out aimed at preserving bees in accordance with the Federal Law No. 490-FZ On apiculture in the Russian Federation , this Regional Law and legislation Russian Federation in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals. 2. Natural persons and legal entities engaged in apiculture, and the population of settlements located at a distance of up to 7 kilometers from the boundaries of land and land plots on which the use of pesticides is planned, are informed in advance about the use of pesticides. 3. Information on the use of pesticides must contain the following data: 1) the name of the pesticides planned for use; 2) cadastral number, address or location of the land plot where the use of pesticides is planned; 3) date of application of pesticides; 4) method and dosage of pesticides; 5) recommended periods for isolating bees in hives. 4. Dissemination of information on the use of pesticides to the persons specified in part 2 of this article is ensured through the media (radio, print media, electronic and other means of communication and information) by persons who planned the use of pesticides no earlier than ten days in advance and not later than five days before their use.".
