Regulation No. 13-7-2/173 of State veterinary survey on subdivision of State veterinary survey at the enterprises for processing and storage of animal products.

Subdivisions of State veterinary supervision are set up at the enterprises for processing and storage of animal products irrespectively of their departmental subordination and form of property engaged in slaughtering of cattle (poultry), purveyance, processing and storage alimentary and non-alimentary raw materials of animal origin. State veterinary supervision is responsible for the organization and carrying out state veterinary supervision over the observance by enterprises of veterinary regulations in the course of processing, storage and trade of animal products, veterinary and sanitary inspection of meat and meat-based products, foodstuffs, animal feed and non-edible products of animal origin, and prevention of spreading of infectious disease common to humans and animals transmitted by slaughtered animals (poultry) and by products of slaughtering. The Regulation consists of 6 Sections. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 determines the tasks of State veterinary supervision. Section 3 establishes the duties of State veterinary supervision. Section 4 establishes the competence of State veterinary supervision. Section 5 establishes the liability of State veterinary supervision. Section 6 determines the modalities of cooperation between subdivisions of State veterinary supervision and the administration and industrial services of the enterprises.
