Resolution No. 674 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating Veterinary rules for the maintenance, operation and liquidation of animal burial grounds.

The maintenance and (or) operation of cattle burial grounds are carried out by citizens and organizations that carry out collection, storage, movement, disposal and destruction of biological waste and information about which is included in the Federal State Information System in the Field of Veterinary Medicine. The territory of the cattle burial ground must be fenced with a solid fence at least 2 meters high, with an entrance gate marked with a warning sign with the inscription "Cattle burial ground". The entrance gate of the cattle burial ground containing biological waste contaminated with the anthrax pathogen must be marked with a warning sign with the inscription "Cattle burial ground. Anthrax". The gates of the cattle burial ground and the lids of the biothermal pits must be equipped with locks, the keys to which must be kept by persons, authorized citizens and organizations. If there are earthen pits (trenches) in which biological waste is buried on the territory of a cattle burial ground containing biological waste contaminated with the anthrax pathogen, earthen embankments at least 0.5 meters above the ground surface must be constructed over such pits (trenches). Dumping of biological waste into cattle burial grounds that are not equipped with biothermal pits or are equipped with biothermal pits that are not hermetically sealed is prohibited. After each dumping of biological waste into a biothermal pit, the lid of the biothermal pit must be closed and locked by authorized citizens and organizations. It is prohibited to graze cattle on the territory of a cattle burial ground. It is prohibited to move mown grass, soil and rubberized residue outside the cattle burial ground.
