Abstract
These Veterinary and sanitary requirements are destined for carrying out inspection over projecting, equipment and running of pastures irrigated by livestock farms’ drains (fluid fraction of fluid manure and manure drains of cattle-breeding and swine-breeding farms). The Regulation consists of 4 Chapters. Chapter 1 lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 regards the use of livestock farms’ drains. Section 3 regards equipment of pastures. Section 4 regards veterinary and sanitary inspection.

Veterinary and sanitary recommendations on the use of drains for the purpose of irrigation of pastures, validated by the Head veterinary department attached to the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR the 15th of December 1977 are not applicable on the territory of the Russian Federation after the validation of the present Veterinary and sanitary requirements.
