Law establishing Rwanda Social Security Board (Law 9 of 2021).

This Law establishes Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB). It also determines its mission, responsibilities, organisation and functioning.The RSSB is responsible for managing and promoting various social security schemes, including pensions, health insurance, and occupational hazards insurance. It registers contributors, collects and manages social security contributions, conducts audits for compliance, and pays benefits to eligible beneficiaries. Additionally, the RSSB invests domestically and internationally, contributes to social security policy and welfare strategies, advises the government, and collaborates with regional and international institutions. It also has the authority to set guidelines, enforce compliance, recover unpaid contributions, and impose administrative fines. The text further provides for the organisation and functioning of RSSB, duties of the board, general management, property and finance. The text contains 39 Articles divided into V Chapters.
