Law governing Public Procurement (Law 62 of 2018).

This law governs the procurement of works, goods, supplies, and both consultancy and non-consultancy services by the procuring entity. It does not apply to the procurement of classified items related to national defense and security. The law consists of 199 Articles designed in 5 Chapters and provides for award of public procurement; requirements for a procuring entity in the public procurement process; types and methods of public procurement; procurement process; bids and tender; appeal; procurement contract; performance security; its refund; contract execution; execution of the contract for goods or supplies; and sanctions.
