Nyabugogo Catchment Management Plan 2018-2024.

The Nyabugogo Catchment Management Plan is a sectoral policy covering the period of 2018 to 2024. The objectives of this Plan for the Nyabugogo catchment areas are: (I) implementation of the landscape restoration measures and mitigation of water related disasters, (II) sufficient water availability both in quantity and quality throughout the year, through development of storage in large and small-scale water infrastructure for various uses, and in soils, (III) equitable allocation of available water resources for all users in rural and urban areas of current and future generations, and (IV) strengthened water governance framework and transboundary cooperation to ensure effective implementation of integrated water resources development programs.
