Abstract
This Order, composed by 5 Chapters, establishes, in chapter 1, the National Land Authority, a non-commercial public institution placed under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of land.
Chapter 2 determines the Authority's mission, responsibilities and powers. The Authority's mission is to ensure efficient land administration and use for a sustainable development. Among the authority's responsibilities are the implementation of the national legislative framework related to land registration, land use planning and management; the advisory role to the Government on issues relating to land; the education and sensitization of the public on policies and laws related to land management and use; the process and update of the land register etc. Chapter 2 also establishes the powers which the Authority disposes of to ensure the accomplishment of its mission.
Chapter 3 defines the organization and functioning of the Authority while Chapter 4 covers its property and financing. The document is terminated by Chapter 5, containing final provisions.
