Presidential Order n° 034/01 of 06/05/2022 governing Rwanda Forestry Authority.

This Order, made of 5 Chapters, determines the mission, responsibilities, organization and functioning of Rwanda Forestry Authority (RFA).
The mission of RFA is to ensure growth, management and preservation of forest resources for purposes of sustainable development. Among the Authority's responsibilities there is management and utilization of forestry resources; the set up of plans for increasing forest resources; the establishment of strategies for the multiplication and supply of tree seeds; the development of strategies for sustainable forestry and forest products management and utilization; the conduct of research on forests; the cooperation with other international institutions and organizations sharing a similar mission. To realize its mission the Authority can count on a series of powers detailed by article 7 of the Order.
