Assignment of Responsibility to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology 2011 (L.N. No. 116 of 2011).

This Legal Notice of the Governor-General, made under section 37 of the Constitution, assigns responsibility for the administration of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology and for the conduct of the business of the Government of Solomon Islands in respect to matters as specified in the Schedule to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology. Duties of the Minister concern, among other things, environment and conservation, national parks and wildlife, national disaster management, and the Environment Advisory Committee, the Protected Areas Advisory Committee and the National Disaster Management Council.
