Abstract
The Biosecurity Regulation sets forth provisions on the points of entry and departure for landing and export of animals, plants, and other things are designated in Schedule 1, the designated Biosecurity Holding Areas of points of entry and departure are prescribed in Schedule 2, Application procedures for private Biosecurity Goods Holding are prescribed in Schedule 3, the procedures for the Biosecurity Arrival Declaration for vessels and commercial aircraft are prescribed in Schedule 4, the procedures for the Incoming Conveyance Biosecurity Certificate for vessels are prescribed in Schedule 5, procedures for Bond or Guarantee for vessels or air craft in the case of animals, plant and their products are prescribed in Schedule 6, application procedures for a Biosecurity Import Permit for plants and animals including plant and animal products are prescribed in Schedule 7, procedures for the permit to import plants and animals including plant and animal products are prescribed in Schedule 8, application procedures for Biosecurity Import Clearance are prescribed in Schedule 9, all biosecurity import requirements for a consignment are prescribed in Schedule 10, application procedures for Biosecurity Export Clearance and sanitary or phytosanitary certificates are prescribed in Schedule 12, Areas designated as biosecurity quarantine stations for live animals and plants are prescribed in Schedule 13, and Application procedures for Individuals, organisations or companies intending to establish private biosecurity quarantine stations for the purposes of post-entry quarantine of animals or plants are prescribed in Schedule 14.
