Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 55 of the Environment Act, concern, among other things: preparation of public environmental report of environmental impact assessment; prescribed development applications; appeal under section 32(1) of the Act; and control of pollution. They also make an amendment to Second Schedule to the Act, which determines prescribed development.
The Guidelines set out in Form 1 shall apply to assist the applicant in preparing the Public Environmental Report, Environment Impact Statement or any other report as the Director of the Environment and Conservation Division may direct. The Director may issue a Development Consent to an application if the Director is satisfied that specified conditions are met. Premises set out in Schedule 1 are prescribed for the purposes of Part IV of the Act. Occupiers of such premises may apply for a waste discharge licence. The Regulations also determine the form of stop notices and abatement notices.
