Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation (Exemption) (Vangunu Isand) Order 2011 (L.N. No. 27 of 2011).

This Notice, made by the Minister under section 4 of the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation Act, exempts land belonging to a specified tribe on Vangunu Island from the provisions of that section. Section 4 requires a licence to be obtained for commercial felling. The land shall be used for the purposes of cattle farming. All clear felling shall comply with the terms and conditions of a special permit to be issued by the Commissioner of Forest Resources.
