Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 44 of the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation Act, concern (members of) the Solomon Forest Association and specify the conditions under which a licence pursuant to section 5 of the Act shall be granted. One of the conditions is that a licensee shall allow only association members (as defined by these Regulations) to conduct and manage tree felling and related operations. An agreement to such extent shall be approved by the Commissioner of Forest Resources and no licences shall be granted if this condition is not observed.
